Christian Ziege talks Liverpool, Spurs as he starts new chapter in Thailand

Thai stars Teerasil Dangda, Teerathon Bunmathan and Chanathip Songkrasin out on loan to the J-League for the 2018 season.
John Wilkinson and Jason Dasey speak on Jay Bothroyd and Chanathip Songkrasin helping Consadole Sapporo avoid relegation.
At a young age, Charyl Chappuis' passion for football was ignited. Delve into the story of how his love for the game has evolved.

From playing in some of Europe's greatest cities at the game's most decorated clubs, to working in the modest surroundings of provincial Thai side Ratchaburi, former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur wing-back Christian Ziege can vouch for the rapid passing of time in football.

And the German sees little in common with the Premier League today and the one he starred in between 1999 and 2004, which included a year at Middlesbrough, in addition to the more celebrated clubs mentioned above.

JDT's Hariss Harun, Darren Lok wary of weakened Muang Thong

ESPN's Jason Dasey and Dez Corkhill share their thoughts of Johor Darul Ta'zim's tour of Thailand and their AFC Champions League chances.

Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) midfielder Hariss Harun has warned his teammates not to underestimate AFC Champions League (ACL) opponents Muang Thong United, despite the Thai club having lost some key players.

The Malaysia Super League (MSL) champions take on the Thai League runners up in the ACL's second preliminary round on Jan. 23, with the winners progressing to a playoff against Kashiwa Reysol in Japan.

And Singapore international Hariss is convinced that Muang Thong still have the quality and experience...

Baihakki Khaizan to join Thai giants Muang Thong after KL U-turn

As a dismal 2017 for Singapore football draws to a close, John Wilkinson joins Jason Dasey to reveal his hopes for 2018.
Jason Dasey and John Wilkinson discuss Shahril Ishak's return to Home United as well as other S League transfers to Malaysia and Thailand.

Singapore defender Baihakki Khaizan has apparently performed a stunning U-turn by joining Thai League club Muang Thong United, just days after appearing to agree a deal with Kuala Lumpur FC.

The 33-year-old had originally been close to a move to Jeddah FC in Saudi Arabia after a successful trial.

He then seemed set for a return to Malaysia, having previously played for Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) and JDT II.

But a phone call from Muang Thong changed all of that, and Baihakki now seems set for Thailand...

Luciano Figueroa header gives JDT win in Thai warm-up for ACL

Jason Dasey and John Wilkinson discuss Pep Guardiola's promise to visit JDT if Manchester City win the Premier League title.

Malaysian champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) got their preseason tour of Thailand off to a winning start while former Home United teammates Hassan Sunny and Hariss Harun were reunited on opposing sides.

JDT earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Thai League 2 (T2) side Army United, with the only goal coming from Luciano Figueroa's header at the beginning of the second half.

But the visitors were given a good workout in a competitive fixture as they prepare to face Muang Thong United in the AFC Champions...

Ex-England defender Gary Stevens sees Thai coaching gig fall through

John Wilkinson and Jason Dasey speak on Jay Bothroyd and Chanathip Songkrasin helping Consadole Sapporo avoid relegation.
At a young age, Charyl Chappuis' passion for football was ignited. Delve into the story of how his love for the game has evolved.
Jason Dasey and PJ Roberts evaluate Australia's World Cup group and assess whether they or any other Asian teams can progress.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and England defender Gary Stevens' proposed move to Thai League (T1) club Ubon UMT United has fallen through after a failure to agree terms, with former Premier League striker Mixu Paatelainen taking over as head coach instead.

Ubon announced that they had appointed Stevens in December, following the departure of Scott Cooper from the club.

However, Stevens confirmed that the deal had never been finalised, paving the way for ex-Finland boss Paatelainen to come to Thailand.

"Unfortunately...
