Diego Simeone hails Wanda Metropolitano as Atletico beat Sevilla

Atletico Madrid have now won two out of two at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Diego Simeone says Atletico Madrid's new Wanda Metropolitano stadium is "like a Roman circus" after his team made it two wins from two games there by beating Sevilla 2-0 on Saturday, with Chelsea next up in the Champions League on Wednesday.

In Saturday's early La Liga kickoff, both teams hit the woodwork in the first half, but the opening goal came just after the break when Yannick Carrasco took advantage of a mistake from Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi to neatly round goalkeeper Sergio Rico...

Diego Costa: I have special affection for Chelsea, but Atletico is my home

Former Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo and forward Andriy Shevchenko discuss Diego Costa's sale and Morata's potential.
Shaka Hislop and Alexis Nunes discuss how Alvaro Morata will succeed Diego Costa at Chelsea.
ESPN's Chelsea correspondent Liam Twomey discusses all of the latest news from Stamford Bridge ahead of them match with Stoke.

Diego Costa regrets the manner of his Chelsea exit and admits to having "special affection'' for people at the club.

Costa, 28, finally agreed a move back to Atletico Madrid earlier this week and arrived in the Spanish capital on Friday, ending weeks of exile in Brazil.

The Spain striker won two Premier League titles in his three seasons at Stamford Bridge, but his stay ended in acrimony as he refused to return to the club after being informed by text message that he was not in Antonio Conte's plans.

Alaves appoint ex-Albania boss Gianni De Biasi to replace Luis Zubeldia

Gianni De Biasi replaces Luis Zubeldia as Alaves coach.

Alaves have appointed Gianni De Biasi as their new head coach.

The 61-year-old Italian replaces Luis Zubeldia, who was sacked following last weekend's defeat to Villarreal, and takes over an Alaves side who have yet to pick up a point or score a goal from five La Liga matches this season.

The experienced De Biasi counts the likes of Torino, Udinese, Levante and Brescia among his former clubs as a coach, while he was in charge of Albania for six years before stepping down this summer.
