Former New York Red Bulls general manager Ali Curtis has interviewed to be the sporting director of Columbus Crew SC, multiple sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

The Athletic was the first to report the news.

The Crew is currently without a GM and head coach in the wake of Gregg Berhalter's appointment as United States manager. The search is being conducted by the team's presumptive owners, the Haslam Family and as Dr. Peter Edwards, who are in negotiations to buy the team from Precourt Sports Ventures.

The New York Red Bulls have signed defender Tim Parker to a new three-year contract, the team announced on Wednesday.

According to his agent, Parker's salary will be worth $2.4 million over the course of the deal.

FC Cincinnati has acquired defender Kendall Waston from the Vancouver Whitecaps in exchange for up to $825,000 in allocation money plus an international roster spot for 2019, the clubs announced on Tuesday.

LAFC trade top pick Joao Moutinho to Orlando for Mohamed El-Munir

LAFC traded former No. 1 draft pick Joao Moutinho to Orlando SC for Libyan defender Mohamed El-Munir.

LAFC announced the deal Tuesday.

El-Munir appeared in 26 games for Orlando in his first MLS season, recording two assists. He has Europa League experience from his time with Dinamo Minsk.

The 20-year-old Moutinho appeared in only 14 games for expansion LAFC, scoring one goal. The Portuguese prospect was the top pick in last year's SuperDraft out of the University of Akron.
