Bayern Munich give Mario Gotze's brother Felix first professional contract

Retiring Philip Lahm and Xabi Alonso said goodbye to the Bayern Munich fans at their Bundesliga title party.

Bayern Munich have handed Felix Gotze, the younger brother of Germany and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario, a first professional contract.

The 19-year-old, who has been with Bayern since 2014, has committed his future to the Bundesliga champions until June 2019.

The centre-back told the club's official website: "I am delighted to have the chance at Bayern as a professional.

Carlo Ancelotti is pleased that his players finished the season in good condition.

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge will boycott next month's Champions League final because he still feels angry about the nature of their defeat to finalists Real Madrid.

Bayern were angered by several controversial decisions from Hungarian official Victor Kassai as they lost 4-2 in the second leg at the Bernabeu and went out 6-3 on aggregate.

Rummenigge said he would be in Cardiff, where the Champions League final between Real and Juventus is being played on June 3, to attend meetings.
