Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed midfielder Diogo Jota from Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan.

Portugal under-21 international Jota is reunited with coach Nuno Espirito Santo, for whom he played on loan at Porto last season.

Fiorentina sign midfielder Jordan Veretout from Aston Villa

Jordan Veretout spent last season on loan at St Etienne.

Fiorentina have completed the signing of Jordan Veretout from Aston Villa after he decided against a permanent switch to St Etienne.

Veretout, 24, has joined the Viola for an undisclosed fee, reported to be in the region of €7 million and signed a four-year contract.

Middlesbrough sign Darren Randolph from West Ham for £5m

Middlesbrough have signed Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Darren Randolph on a four-year deal.

Boro have paid £5 million to West Ham for the 30-year-old.

"I am delighted to get it all signed and completed," Randolph told his new club's official website.

Cristhian Stuani has left Middlesbrough after two seasons.

Middlesbrough midfielder Cristhian Stuani has joined La Liga club Girona for an undisclosed fee.

The 30-year-old, a Uruguay international, scored 16 goals in 66 appearances since arriving at Boro in 2015.

Stuani played a big part in Boro winning promotion to the Premier League in 2016 before suffering relegation last season.

At Girona, he will link back up with former teammate Bernardo, who moved there from Boro two weeks ago.
