Jozy Altidore said he is committed to staying at Toronto FC, but said he would be prepared to move on from the Canadian club.

"For me and my family, Toronto is home, Toronto is everything," the U.S. international told the Toronto Sun. "And we stressed that to [team chairman Larry] Tanenbaum and to everybody at Toronto FC. But if the direction is something else, it's no problem. Like I said, it would be, 'Thank you very much for the time' and in the summertime I'll have to look for a new team."

Toronto FC have signed United States international striker Terrence Boyd from German side Darmstadt, the club announced on Tuesday.

"We are excited to welcome Terrence and his family to the club," Toronto general manager Ali Curtis said in a statement.

"Terrence is a player that we've tracked for years during his time with the U.S. National Team and in Germany.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- U.S. international and Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley said Toronto FC is going to miss departed star Sebastian Giovinco.

Giovinco's move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal was made official late Wednesday, ending a four-year stint with the Reds, a time that saw the Italian win the league's MVP award in 2015 and lead the team to a domestic Treble two years later. All told, Giovinco scored 83 goals in 143 league, playoff, and cup appearances with TFC.

Toronto FC's Sebastian Giovinco joins Al-Hilal, slams former club in exit

Sebastian Giovinco now shares the lead in goals scored via free kicks in Major League Soccer.

Sebastian Giovinco has hit out at former employers Toronto FC after being sold to Saudi Arabia giants Al-Hilal on Wednesday.

Earlier reports that the fee for the deal is between $2 million and $3 million are accurate, a league source has confirmed to ESPN's Jeff Carlisle.

Sources have also confirmed that a deal has been done to bring in United States international Terrance Boyd, currently playing the German second division for Darmstadt 98, as Giovinco's replacement on the TFC roster.
