France's Sports Minister has given the go-ahead for safe-standing areas to be tested in French football next season.

At a meeting with French Football League president Nathalie Boy de la Tour, as well as club and fan representatives, Laura Flessel approved the reintroduction of standing areas.

The minister has asked the National Supporters' Group (INS) to present her with a "study on the conditions of the implementation of an experimentation phase" in July.

Paris Saint-Germain's Dani Alves ends Sochaux Coupe de France tie in goal

Paris Saint-Germain defender Dani Alves played in goal for the closing moments of his side's Coup de France win at Sochaux after keeper Kevin Trapp was sent off.

PSG held a 4-1 lead when Trapp was dismissed for a foul on Thomas Robinet outside the area, with Brazil international Alves taking over the gloves to face the resulting free kick.

However, the 5-foot-6 defender did not have any work to do as Florian Tardieu fired his effort into the PSG wall.

Paris Saint-Germain are into the quarterfinals of the Coupe de France after beating Sochaux 4-1 on Tuesday night at the Stade Bonal.

Angel Di Maria had the three-time defending champions ahead in the first minute, heading a Kylian Mbappe cross past Sochaux goalkeeper Lawrence Ati.

But the Ligue 2 hosts struck back before the quarter-hour mark courtesy of some nifty footwork from Florian Martin to control and half-volley a shot into the net after a scramble in front of the goalmouth.

Sochaux confirmed the deal on their official website on Wednesday, with the player announcing that he was delighted to be moving to the Stade Auguste Bonal.

Mohamed Larbi is a free agent after Sochaux confirmed that they'd cancelled his contract in a statement on their official website on Wednesday.

The Tunisia international joined the Montbeilard-based club during the January transfer contract, signing an 18-month deal upon his arrival in the Doubs.

However, he departs after six months, having made just 13 appearances for Sochaux in Ligue 2, and failing to find the net.

"An amicable agreement has been reached between FC Sochaux-Montbeliard and Mohamed...
