Greg Stewart and Gary Mackay-Steven both netted their first Aberdeen goals as the Dons sealed Europa League progress with a 2-0 victory over Siroki Brijeg in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ryan Christie created both goals in the final 18 minutes to secure a 3-1 aggregate win and set up a third qualifying-round encounter with Apollon Limassol of Cyprus.

Aberdeen face Siroki Brijeg in the second leg of their Europa League second round qualifier.

A group of Aberdeen supporters have been attacked in Bosnia and Herzegovina before a Europa League qualifying match against Siroki Brijeg.

Fans who had gathered at the Black Dog pub in Mostar were targeted on Wednesday night by a group reportedly carrying bats and flares.

At least two supporters were taken to hospital following the incident, according to reports.

Aberdeen Evening Express journalist Sean Wallace was among those caught up in the violence.
