JDT's Hariss Harun, Darren Lok wary of weakened Muang Thong

ESPN's Jason Dasey and Dez Corkhill share their thoughts of Johor Darul Ta'zim's tour of Thailand and their AFC Champions League chances.

Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) midfielder Hariss Harun has warned his teammates not to underestimate AFC Champions League (ACL) opponents Muang Thong United, despite the Thai club having lost some key players.

The Malaysia Super League (MSL) champions take on the Thai League runners up in the ACL's second preliminary round on Jan. 23, with the winners progressing to a playoff against Kashiwa Reysol in Japan.

And Singapore international Hariss is convinced that Muang Thong still have the quality and experience...

Baihakki Khaizan to join Thai giants Muang Thong after KL U-turn

As a dismal 2017 for Singapore football draws to a close, John Wilkinson joins Jason Dasey to reveal his hopes for 2018.
Jason Dasey and John Wilkinson discuss Shahril Ishak's return to Home United as well as other S League transfers to Malaysia and Thailand.

Singapore defender Baihakki Khaizan has apparently performed a stunning U-turn by joining Thai League club Muang Thong United, just days after appearing to agree a deal with Kuala Lumpur FC.

The 33-year-old had originally been close to a move to Jeddah FC in Saudi Arabia after a successful trial.

He then seemed set for a return to Malaysia, having previously played for Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) and JDT II.

But a phone call from Muang Thong changed all of that, and Baihakki now seems set for Thailand...

John Wilkinson and Jason Dasey speak on Jay Bothroyd and Chanathip Songkrasin helping Consadole Sapporo avoid relegation.

Thailand and Muang Thong United goalkeeper Kawin Thamsatchanan is set to team up with former Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson by heading to OH Leuven in Belgium.

Reports in the Thai media suggest that Kawin is on his way to Leuven, where Pearson is manager of the First Division B team, who play in the second tier of Belgian football.

The club are owned by the King Power International Group, the same Thai company that controls 2015-16 English champions, Leicester. And they seem determined to establish...

Thai ace Theerathon Bunmathan gets Vissel Kobe loan deal in J.League

John Wilkinson and Jason Dasey speak on Jay Bothroyd and Chanathip Songkrasin helping Consadole Sapporo avoid relegation.

Muang Thong United utility player Theerathon Bunmathan will become the latest Thailand international to head to Japan after sealing a one-year loan deal with J.League side Vissel Kobe where Germany star Lukas Podolksi plies his trade.

Theerathon follows Muang Thong teammates Chanathip Songkrasin and Teerasil Dangda, who will be on loan at Consadole Sapporo and Sanfrecce Hiroshima respectively in 2018.

The 27-year-old joins former Bayern Munich and Arsenal striker Podolski for the 2018 season as...

Muang Thong United eye JDT playoff, win Mekong Club Championship

Jason Dasey and John Wilkinson discuss Pep Guardiola's promise to visit JDT if Manchester City win the Premier League title.

Muang Thong United warmed up for their upcoming AFC Champions League (ACL) qualifier against Malaysian champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) by claiming their first trophy of the year as they defeated Vietnam's Sanna Khanh Hoa in the Mekong Club Championship final.

The 2016 Thai champions, who surrendered their league title to Buriram United last season, dismissed the challenge of the Vietnamese side as a 4-0 win in Bangkok earned them a 7-1 aggregate victory.

And Muang Thong gave a demonstration of...
