It's Monday, so here's the good, bad and ugly from Round 15 in the A-League -- including an assessment on the Olyroos' latest match.

Can Adelaide keep it up? | City's aggressiveness | Olyroos win nod to youth | Western United's weird win | Trust the Roar

Not just yet, Perth

Much has been made of Perth's six-game winning streak this season, the prevailing sense being it is proof they have turned the corner. After one win in the opening seven matches this season, Sunday night's 1-0 win away...

Newcastle Jets 2-0 loss against Melbourne City leaves them at the bottom of the A-League ladder.

Melbourne City consolidated second spot in the A-League with a 2-0 victory over Newcastle Jets at AAMI Park.

Craig Noone handed the home side the lead in the eighth minute before Jamie Maclaren converted a penalty in the 63rd.

Former City winger Nick Fitzgerald forced a good save from Dean Bouzanis in the opening minute, before the home side took the lead seven minutes later.

Maclaren went on a surging run down the left wing then cut the ball back to Noone, who curled a left-foot strike from outside...

A-League midseason review: Sydney FC, Melbourne City lead the pack

Sydney continue their impressive form vs. Newcastle jets to move further clear at the top of the A-League.
Two extra-time goals help end Central Coast Mariners drought against Melbourne Victory in a 3-2 win.
Richarlison's goal led Everton to a win vs. Brighton, while Mat Ryan gave to bushfire relief with each save.
Perth Glory made it five on the trot in a stellar display against a woeful Adelaide with a 3-0 win.
A blockbuster first half fizzled in the second as Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City failed to best one another.
Wellington Phoenix matched their club's unbeaten streak record with ease against a disappointing Wanderers.

Anyway...

1. Sydney FC

The ladder does not lie. Sydney have unquestionably been the A-League's...
