Berlin -- Borussia Dortmund captain Marcel Schmelzer limped onto the DFB-Pokal winner's podium as the last BVB player. He made his way through his teammates, coach Thomas Tuchel waiting at the back. Dortmund had just beaten Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 in a match which fittingly summed up BVB's season.

Thomas Tuchel says Borussia Dortmund have taken a different approach to the DFB Pokal after their loss in the 2016 final.

"I really want that trophy," said Christian Pulisic in an interview with the Guardian. "I want it bad and I think the whole team really does." The trophy in question is the DFB Pokal, which Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt will play for at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday night (live on WatchESPN, 1.55 p.m. ET, U.S. only).

Borussia Dortmund secured qualification to the Champions League group stage with their thrilling win over Werder Bremen on Saturday.

DORTMUND, Germany -- Borussia Dortmund secured direct Champions League qualification for next season, finishing third in the final Bundesliga standings with a dramatic 4-3 win over Werder Bremen at the Westfalenstadion on the final matchday on Saturday.

It was the guests who took the lead after seven minutes as Zlatko Junuzovic pounced on a loose ball in the box. Roman Burki made the save, but goal-line technology showed that the ball had crossed the line.

Monchengladbach accuse Borussia Dortmund of stealing their kit design

Borussia Monchengladbach aren't best pleased with Borussia Dortmund's new kit for the 2017-18 season.

Dortmund launched their new home strip with a late-night shopping event at the BVB fan shop on Wednesday, with the design retaining their classic yellow colour but now featuring horizontal stripes which, according to the club, "change from black to yellow and vice versa as they move across the shirt."
