The final of the inaugural Leagues Cup that features teams from MLS and Liga MX will be held on Sept. 18 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, the competition announced on Thursday. 

The inaugural cup competition will begin in the United States over July 23 and 24 (watch matches on ESPN and streaming on ESPN+) and see Houston Dynamo face Club America, Real Salt Lake host Tigres, Chicago Fire play Cruz Azul and LA Galaxy take on Club Tijuana. Giovani Dos Santos has signed with America.

Former LA Galaxy forward Giovani Dos Santos has signed with Liga MX giant Club America on a two-year deal, the club announced on Saturday.

The MLS club exercised its option to buy out the contract in March and the 30-year-old Dos Santos has been searching for a club since, with ESPN reporting that the deal to bring him to America was close on Thursday evening.

The Mexico international will join the Mexico City club his father, "Zizinho" Dos Santos, played for in the 1980s.
