A Spanish second division soccer match between Rayo Vallecano and Albacete was abandoned at halftime on Sunday after Albacete forward Roman Zozulya was subjected to offensive chanting from the home supporters, who accused him of being a Nazi.

Pelayo Novo, a midfielder for second division Spanish club Albacete, has been seriously injured after falling from the third floor of his team's hotel.

The club said the Spaniard is in stable condition following the "stunning" accident in the northeastern city of Huesca on Saturday.
