Spartak Moscow charged over racist behaviour in Liverpool youth tie

Liverpool once again drop points they should have earned as Spartak Moscow hold on for a 1-1 draw.
Jurgen Klopp is left frustrated by Liverpool's draw at Newcastle, but insists his side will start scoring more goals soon.
Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol slams the club's defense after another mishap in the back led to a draw at Newcastle.

UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Spartak Moscow for alleged racist behaviour by their fans in their recent UEFA Youth League tie with Liverpool.

Liverpool complained that Nigerian-born Bobby Adekanye, 18, was subject to racial abuse when he appeared as a second-half substitute in the fixture, which took place at Spartak's academy on Sept. 26.

On Wednesday, UEFA confirmed that the Russian club have been charged with "racist behaviour (monkey chants)."

Adekanye moved to Liverpool from...

Dortmund CEO wants UEFA to deduct points as PSG owners 'laugh' at fines

Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has called on UEFA to deduct points from overspending clubs, saying Paris Saint-Germain's owners "laugh" at fines.

PSG's purchase of Neymar for €222 million this summer has led to an investigation into possible financial fair play violations, and if found to be repeat offenders, the French club could be kept out of the Champions League in the future.

They could also face heavy fines, but Watzke says financial penalties mean nothing...
