England's World Cup bid backed by Justin Timberlake: 'It's coming home!'

With the national team set to play in a World Cup semifinal, England is currently firmly in the midst of a debilitating bout of World Cup fever.

Indeed, the fever in question doesn't appear to be life-threatening at the moment, instead solely manifesting in the involuntary collective yelling of the lyrics to a 22-year-old football song.

On the following evidence, even major U.S. pop stars are starting to come down with symptoms, with Justin Timberlake delighting the crowd at his O2 London concert by uttering those immortal words.

"Go on then Kane! Go on then Maguire!" roared Timberlake in his finest English accent.

How can the Three Lions possibly fail to bring it home now?

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
