Saido Berahino too excited for Stoke's trip to Manchester United

Saido Berahino might want to check this schedule before he prepares for his next match.

He may be struggling for goals so far this season but you simply cannot fault Saido Berahino's enthusiasm.

Dressed in his match-day track suit, the Stoke City striker was raring to go when he reported for his side's game against Manchester United well ahead kickoff.

Alas, unfortunately we're talking a full 24 hours ahead of kickoff.

Berahino came prepared for the match thinking it was on Sunday, only to find that the fixture is actually scheduled to take place at Old Trafford on Monday evening.

Thankfully, the ensuing confusion was captured for posterity by Beharino's teammates, Kurt Zouma and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Oops.

UPDATE: To add insult to Berahino's embarrassment, he was left out of Stoke's 18-man squad for Monday's game!

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
