Celtic, Rangers fans create 'Hampden Roar' almost as loud as jet engine

The "Hampden Roar" is as loud being right next to a roaring lion and almost as deafening as a jet engine taking off, according to a study at Sunday's Scottish Cup semifinal.

Sound experts recorded a peak noise of 115 decibels during Celtic's 4-0 victory over Rangers at Glasgow's Hampden Park.

The noise dwarfs levels recorded during a Press Association Sport study of Premier League grounds in 2014, which found Old Trafford topping the list at a peak of 84 decibels.

Mohamed Salah edges Cristiano Ronaldo in Champions League goal vote

The accolades just keep on coming for Mohamed Salah who can now add the Champions League Goal of the Week (for the quarterfinals) award to his already swollen list of achievements this season.

When Inter Milan played Cagliari on Tuesday night, fans were quick to spot something very slightly amiss with their kit.

Indeed, to celebrate what the Nerazzurri called "Social Night", the entire squad played with their Instagram handles on the back of their shirt instead of their names.

As you might imagine, the decision to go social media-friendly didn't go down well with many fans, who were left to decry the death of proper football in unison ... on social media.

West Ham chief Karren Brady plugs new TV show as team kicks off vs. Stoke

Not for the first time, Karren Brady incurred the wrath of West Ham fans with an ill-timed tweet published on Monday evening.

Just 15 minutes before the Hammers were due to kick off their Monday night TV game against Stoke City at the London Stadium, the club's executive vice-chairman forewent any comment on the game to instead remind her followers to watch her new television series, which started at the same time on UK channel ITV.

After bounding onto the scene with an incendiary tweet about his ironing, James Milner's ongoing social media adventure hit new highs on Monday evening.

The Liverpool midfielder gave his followers a candid glimpse into his party-all-night lifestyle by sharing a lurid photo of himself devouring popcorn at his local cinema.
