Liverpool defence to be breached again at Southampton?

ESPN's 'Always Late' host Katie Nolan spends the weekend with title-chasing Liverpool. Catch her full experience on ESPN+

It was a winning midweek for the column, which backed 3/1 and 13/8 winners. The action continues this weekend with the FA Cup semifinals and some crucial games in the Premier League, including Friday's clash between Southampton and Liverpool.

Running total: -£80.25

The Banker

Liverpool will be looking to go back to the top of the Premier League by winning at St Mary's but may not have things all their own way against Southampton. Jurgen Klopp's men edged past Tottenham on Sunday thanks to Toby Alderweireld's last-gasp own goal, but it was another unconvincing performance from the Reds. Defensively, Liverpool have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last four games, having gone five matches without shipping even one before that. Both teams to score looks a firm bet here at a shade under even money. Saints have improved since Ralph Hasenhuttl took over in December -- his team were level on points with bottom club Fulham at the time -- and have scored some big wins at home, beating Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton.

Selection: £5 on both teams to score at 19/20 with bet365.

The First Goal Flutter

Arsenal know their top-four destiny is now in their own hands but face a crucial trip to Everton on Sunday. Central to their recent upturn in fortunes has been Alexandre Lacazette, who scored his 13th league goal of the season against Newcastle on Monday evening. The Frenchman is a 4/1 poke to score first at Goodison and that looks good value given how sharp he has looked in recent weeks.

Selection: £3 on Lacazette to score first at 4/1 with bet365.

The Tasty Treble

Wolves look an inviting price at 6/4 to beat Watford when they meet in Sunday's second FA Cup semifinal. Nuno Espirito Santo's men are enjoying a fabulous season, and beat Manchester United for the second time in a matter of weeks on Tuesday night. Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez have been in fantastic form and can help fire them to the final. Elsewhere, Manchester City are 8/13 to beat Brighton without conceding in the weekend's other semi and having kept six clean sheets in their last eight matches that looks a bet. Finally add in Arsenal (23/20) to beat Everton on Merseyside for a treble with bet365 paying better than 15/2.

Selection: £4 on the treble at 7.68/1 with bet365.

The Euro Wager

Barcelona host Atletico Madrid on Saturday evening and the Catalan giants look a fair price at 4/5. Atletico trail Barca by eight points with just eight games to go so a win for the Blaugrana this weekend will all but seal another triumph in La Liga. Few could argue that they don't deserve it either with Lionel Messi in irrepressible form, scoring 42 goals across all competitions.

Selection: £5 on Barcelona to win at 4/5 with bet365.

The Wildcard Tip

Leicester City might prove too strong for already relegated Huddersfield on Saturday and you can get 20/1 about Jamie Vardy scoring first and the Foxes winning 2-0. Vardy has helped himself to four goals in as many games since Brendan Rodgers took over and has the pace to run the Terriers ragged.

Selection: £1 on Vardy to score first and Leicester City to win 2-0 at 20/1 with bet365.
