Could Liverpool's Sadio Mane pull off a shock and win Golden Boot?
The column turned a profit at the weekend after bagging 3/1 and 21/10 winners. With a rare lull in the competitive action this week now is as good a time as any to look at some of the latest outright betting markets for some of Europe's major competitions.

Liverpool went two points clear at the top of the Premier League at the weekend after beating Fulham, but bet365 still make them 2/1 shots to claim their first league title since 1990. Manchester City, who have a game in hand, are 2/5 favourites in what is now clearly a two-horse race.
In the battle to finish in the top four, Chelsea have been eased to 2/1 following a damaging 2-0 reverse against Everton on Sunday. After another abject away performance the Blues are now sixth in the table with eight games to go. Tottenham are still 4/9 to end the season in the top four despite their poor recent run, while it's 8/15 Arsenal and 5/4 Manchester United.
Meanwhile, the Premier League Golden Boot is still up for grabs as the season enters its final phase. Sergio Aguero leads the charts with 18 goals and is 6/4 favourite to finish top scorer. Harry Kane, who topped the scoring charts in successive campaigns between 2015-17, is just one behind the Argentine and can be backed at 7/2. However, the 10/1 available on Sadio Mane looks interesting. The Senegalese forward now has 17 Premier League goals, and has scored nine of those in 2019. He has overtaken Mo Salah as Liverpool's top scorer and on current form looks worth a wager.
Selection: £3 on Mane to be Top Scorer at 10/1 with bet365.
Manchester City are 2/1 favourites for the Champions League and expected to see off Tottenham over two legs in their quarterfinal. Juventus are 100/30 second favourites while you can back Barcelona at 7/2.
Barca face Manchester United next of course and if you fancy the Red Devils to spring a shock you can get 5/2 about them winning that first leg at Old Trafford on April 10.
Liverpool are a 4/1 chance after their favourable draw against FC Porto but Pep Guardiola's men have looked irresistible at times this season and 2/1 about them claiming a historic first Champions League title looks more than fair.
Selection: £4 on Manchester City to win the Champions League at 2/1 with bet365.
It looks like it could be going down to the wire in Germany with only goal difference separating Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Despite this the bookies make Bayern 1/3 favourites so it could be worth a punt on Dortmund, even at this late stage, at 9/4. Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus have been in fabulous form for BVB and could yet get them over the line.
Selection: £4 on Borussia Dortmund to win the Bundesliga at 9/4 with bet365.
